a5c7b9f00b Vandal Savage steals confidential files Batman has compiled on the members of the Justice League, and learns all their weaknesses. The Justice League are a team of great power, but also of personal secrets they thought safe. That changes when the immortal supervillain, Vandal Savage, has Batman's Batcave secretly raided to learn them all and more. Soon, the Leaguers are individually beset by their enemies who attack them with inescapable death traps specifically designed with that information. With that, all seems lost until an indomitable Knight and a young Titan combine to deliver salvation even as Savage uses the opportunity to implement a far grander scheme. There's a lot that's pretty good about this movie, but the plot really kills it. Suffice to say that we've got five villains here who are, apparently, complete morons. All five have the opportunity to kill a member of the Justice League and all five fail to do so—at least four of which did so for no explainable reason other than that the heroes had plot armor.

The basic premise is pretty good (which I can't explain without spoilers), but it was executed which such a massive flaw in it that it the inherent cleverness of the premise is negated completely by the boneheadedness of that execution. In fact, any plot which has its success or failure relies entirely upon the villain(s) being stupid is generally a bad one. Which this one is. Pretty awesome Justice League flick with good action and a wonderful story.

The best aspects of it was without a doubt the character of Batman and Vandal Savage. Savage captures information about the JLA members' weaknesses and creates a team he calls the Legion of Doom consisting of all their foes like Metallo, Cheetah, Bane, Mirror Master, Star Sapphire etc. and equip them with the knowledge of those weaknesses. But it's not just about destroying the JLA.

We then get to see how every member of the JLA put into different situations in which they are either confronted with their weaknesses or wiped out by them. It is great to see how they all struggle against it and will surely keep you engaged.

Batman, who is most comfortable working alone, is a well rounded and multilayered character in this film and to keep it free of spoilers, let's say that he is not exactly who he seems to be.

Also great climax and ending to keep you engaged.
